• SS ISTL researchers to present at 2026 Traffic Safety Symposium (buffalo.edu) — Lake Placid will host the 2026 New York State Highway Safety Symposium at the Conference Center from October 19–22, bringing traffic safety experts from across the state to town. University at Buffalo researchers will showcase cutting-edge autonomous vehicle and simulation work, giving local professionals and officials a chance to hear about emerging tools to improve road safety.
