Are Your Printed Photographs Just One Big Mess?
Learn how to organize your photos into beautiful albums that tell a story

LARCHMONT, NY - You have dutifully saved everything and somehow you are not quite sure what to do with all of your photos. Your photos end up causing you to be overwhelmed and the clutter feels immense. You feel guilty because you can’t find or use them. If you’re like the rest of us, you spend time capturing memories, but they end up hard to find in a pile or in a shoe box never to be enjoyed again.
Join New York based photo organizer Isabelle Dervaux, on Saturday, March 19 at 2:00pm, at the Larchmont Public Library, and learn how to organize your photos into beautiful albums that tell a story.
From letters to souvenirs, kids’ artwork to memorabilia, Isabelle Dervaux helps you rediscover what you have in your closet, collect the bits and pieces, and make a coherent personal story. Perhaps your children are heading off to college or you’re downsizing. If you want to reduce the amount of clutter without losing the sentiment, she will help you create a lean selection that can be passed down—a time capsule of sorts—that creates a sense of clarity and peace.

Isabelle Dervaux is originally from Valenciennes, France, and now lives in Fort Greene, Brooklyn with her husband and two children now in college. Together, we enjoy discovering and recording quirky, hidden places in New York with our cameras. With 30 years’ experience as an illustrator and educator, she has worked for Vogue, The New Yorker, Barneys, and clients from Paris to Tokyo. I have taught at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco and at Parsons, the New School for Design in New York.
Ms. Dervaux will be at the Larchmont Library on Saturday, April 9, and will discuss organizing your digital photographs, which present a totally different set of challenges.
