Arthritis: The Many Causes & Novel Treatments

Free lecture Tuesday, June 14

Joyce Reyes-Thomas, MD will discuss the different types of arthritis including inflammatory versus mechanical arthritis with a focus on osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout. Joyce Reyes Thomas, MD, FACR earned her medical degree at the University of Rochester. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Brown University and a fellowship in rheumatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Reyes Thomas is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. She is an active member of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. Her clinical interests include systemic and localized rheumatologic disorders. This program is free and open to the community. Refreshments are served at 3:30, the lecture begins at 4:00pm.
