Scarsdale, NY — I Am More Scarsdale is proud to announce its upcoming “Style with Purpose” Spring Shopping Event, taking place on Wednesday, April 29 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at its boutique located at 6 Spencer Place in Scarsdale Village. In partnership with Moms in Training and Blood Cancer United, the event will raise funds to support life-saving blood cancer research and provide critical resources for patients and their families.
Blood Cancer United is dedicated to advancing innovative research, improving access to care, and supporting individuals and families impacted by blood cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Through programs like Moms in Training, the organization empowers communities to come together in support of patients while raising awareness and funding for cutting-edge treatments.
As part of the event, I Am More Scarsdale will proudly feature David Stesner Arthouse, showcasing a curated collection of bold, expressive artwork translated into luxury home and lifestyle accessories. Known for his vibrant, butterfly-inspired designs, Stesner’s work blends fine art with functional design, offering guests a unique opportunity to shop statement pieces that bring creativity and sophistication into everyday living.
Guests are also invited to explore I Am More’s latest spring fashion collection, featuring elevated, effortless pieces designed to inspire confidence and versatility. The event promises a day of style, community, and purpose, where shopping directly contributes to meaningful impact.

Finally. An answer to the question that has plagued scientists, theologians, and comedians for millennia: Will Judaism survive in space?
Come enjoy a screening of the documentary Fiddler on the Moon: Judaism in Space—with&nbsp;astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, astronauts Jeffrey Hoffman and Jessica Meir, and a quorum of rabbis and researchers—which explores how Jewish traditions could be practiced in space. Guest speakers from <a href="https://westchesterastronomers.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Westchester Amateur Astronomers</a> (WAA) will hold a discussion after the screening.
A light lunch will be served.

WAA is a not-for-profit organization open to people of all ages with the desire to learn more about astronomy and who share an interest in viewing the universe. We range from enthusiastic amateurs and educators to casual stargazers and families.
WAA was founded by three friends who wanted to help the general public see Halley’s Comet during its 1986 fly-by. They went on to found Westchester Amateur Astronomers in 1991. Activities include monthly presentations by respected names in astronomy and related sciences and observing nights beneath Westchester’s darkest skies.

Folk-pop singer-songwriter Brett Dennen has spent decades capturing audiences with his soulful voice, thoughtful lyricism, and deeply human storytelling. With multiple Top Ten AAA radio singles — including “Make You Crazy,” “Wild Child,” “Already Gone,” and See the World — Dennen has established himself as a standout voice in contemporary American music, blending folk, roots, and indie pop into emotionally resonant songs that connect across generations.

Zion Memorial Chapel, Westchester Country’s ONLY, all-Jewish, free standing and independent funeral home, is celebrating its 30th year.
