Christmas, Hanukkah Events In Larchmont/Mamaroneck: Parades, Lightings

LARCHMONT/MAMARONECK, NY — There is no shortage of things to do in Larchmont/Mamaroneck to get the winter holiday season off to a rollicking good start.

Christmas and Hanukkah, the eight-day Jewish festival of lights, intersect this year, with Hanukkah running Dec. 18-26. Christmas, of course, is on Dec. 25, but you don’t have to wait to start taking in all the sights and sounds of the holidays.

Tree and menorah lightings in Larchmont/Mamaroneck are:

• Dec. 3: Light Up Larchmont, events start at noon
• Dec. 10: Village of Mamaroneck Tree Lighting Social & Holiday Light Tunnel Walk, 6 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., Harbor Island Park
• Dec. 18: Larchmont Chanukah Village Walk/Lighting of Ice Menorah, starts at 1:30 p.m.

• Dec. 4: Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department Toy Drive, noon - 4 p.m.
• Dec. 10: Village of Mamaroneck Santa, Elves & Frosty the Snowman at the Candy Cane Run, 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at six different parks
• Dec. 11: Village of Mamaroneck The Santa Claus Experience Holiday Light Tunnel & Display, 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.
