Eastern Adult Tennis Foundation Hosts 11th Annual Grant Awards Luncheon
Get tennis tips on-court from Mary Joe Fernandez, then enjoy lunch at Beach Point Club at the Eastern Adult Tennis Foundation Luncheon.

The Eastern Adult Tennis Foundation’s (EATF) 11th Annual Grant Awards Luncheon will take place on Monday, September 12 at noon at Beach Point Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y. Tennis play begins prior to the luncheon at 9 a.m.
Former professional tennis player Mary Joe Fernandez will be the keynote speaker for the event. During her time competing professionally, Fernandez won seven WTA singles titles, 19 doubles titles, two Grand Slam doubles titles and three Olympic medals. Fernandez now serves as captain of the United States Fed Cup team and as a tennis analyst for ESPN.
This year, Fernandez will be on-court playing and providing tips, prior to the luncheon. Cost to attend the event is $125 per person or $1,250 per reserved table of ten.

Honoree, Stephanie Krasner will be recognized for her significant involvement with the EATF. As chair of the EATF’s Grant Awards Committee for the past several years, Krasner has helped determine which organizations receive grants each year. Outside of tennis, Krasner volunteers as the librarian for Temple Israel in New Rochelle, N.Y.
During the luncheon, the EATF will award more than $21,000 in grants to 17 different organizations from all six of USTA Eastern’s regions. The list of 2016 grant recipients includes:

The EATF was founded in 2004 and provides grants to non-profit member organizations of the United States Tennis Association’s Eastern Section.
