Encaustic Demonstration by Mitchell Visoky
Mamaroneck Artists Guild invites you to learn about the complex artistic technique called encaustic at a demonstration by Mitchell Visoky.
Award winning artist Mitchell Visoky will present an encaustic demonstration at Mamaroneck Artists Guild Gallery Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 10 am – noon. Mr. Visoky will demonstrate the basics of using encaustic (hot wax). Come and see the proper tools used in this process. He will also demonstrate various techniques in the process such as incising, stenciling, transfers, and adding collage elements. Various other materials such as oil stick, charcoal, pastel and graphite will be shown.
This program is free to MAG members. There is a $10 fee for non-MAG members.

The Gallery is located at 126 Larchmont Avenue, Larchmont NY. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday from noon – 5 pm.
Established in 1953 by seven local artists, the Mamaroneck Artists Guild, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is the oldest artist cooperative maintaining its own gallery in Westchester County.
