An Evening of Spanish Music

A distinctive program of choral music accompanied by solo classical guitarist, Simon Powis, will be presented by the Westchester Chorale, conducted by their Music Director, Douglas Kostner. The program includes "Romancero Gitano" by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco and "10 Cancons Tradicionals" by Manuel Oltra.  The Cancons are a grouping of folk songs from various regions of Spain with some lyrics in Catalan, a language rarely appearing in choral music. The concert is sponsored by ESPANA WINE AND TAPAS BAR, which will provide tapas at the post -concert reception.  The audience is cordially invited.
