Mamaroneck Clean Up/Green Up Day at Harbor Island

Come join our volunteers and do a spring cleaning of Harbor Island at the 5th Annual Clean Up/Green Up Day. We provide the tools, gloves and bags, you provide the muscle as we collectively remove trash and debris from our river, marshlands and beaches.   Kayakers are espcially welcome to help retrieve trash that cannot be reached from the shore.

The day’s festivities will also include the unveiling of the new, permanent Marine Education Center at Harbor Island and a tree planting ceremony, followed by refreshments for all volunteers, donated by local merchants.  Please bring your own water bottles.  Schedule for the day will be as follows:

9 a.m. - Official Ribbon cutting of the Marine Education Center at Harbor Island Park- next to the boat ramp, East Basin.
