Jennifer Ladd a ranger from the Hamilton Grange National Memorial will speak about its history. The program will consist of an illustrated ranger talk about the history of Hamilton Grange. I will discuss why Alexander chose to build his home in Harlem, influences on the design of the house, and why it was moved. Jennifer is a Park Ranger at Hamilton Grange National Memorial. She has previously worked as a ranger with Sagamore Hill and Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace National Historic Sites. Prior to her career with the National Park Service, she worked with several museums and historical societies on Long Island and served as Collections Manager at Raynham Hall Museum. She will be receiving a Master of Arts in History from Long Island University in May.
