At Home on the Sound presents: Home Designs for Greater Independence.

Most people want to remain in their homes as they age. Yet time brings challenges that too often interfere with safety and comfort. This informative talk will demonstrate solutions that can enhance independence at virtually any age. We’ll survey various efficient and attractive home designs that combine safety with aesthetics, and avoid an institutional look. You’ll leave with practical ideas to consider for every room in your home. Our presenters are Catherine Martone, a licensed architect and certified aging-in-place specialist, and David Hallerman a partner at In Place ReDesign Architecture. This program is free and open to the whole community. Refreshments at 3:30; the program at 4:00. Where: Larchmont Avenue Church, Russell Hall, 60 Forest Park Avenue, Larchmont. Join us!
