Lecture by the Honorable Sondra Miller Tuesday, March 29th in Larchmont

This will be a fascinating presentation. Come learn the about the process by which judges are appointed from the Honorable Sondra Miller. Miller was a member of Harvard Law School's first class of admitted women. She served as a Family Court judge in Westchester County from 1983 to 1986. She was elected to the state Supreme Court, Ninth Judicial District in 1986 and became the first woman in the Ninth Judicial District to be appointed to the Appellate Division, Second Department four years later. From 2004-2006, she chaired the New York State Unified Court System Matrimonial Commission. She later served as director of the Office of Family Services of the Office of Court Administration.
