Larchmont Firefighter Battling Early Morning House Fire Hospitalized
Ladder trucks arrived in minutes and quickly stopped the fire's spread, but one firefighter suffered an undisclosed medical condition.

LARCHMONT, NY — Early Monday morning, the Larchmont Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire on Magnolia Avenue. Engine 35 and Tower Ladder 7 were on scene in less than 3 minutes from notification and found smoke and fire coming from the roof of the home, fire officials said in a statement released Monday morning.
Firefighters said they quickly ensured all of the occupants were out of the home and extinguished all visible fire before checking for hidden perils. The fire damage was described as "minimal," thanks to the fast response of fire crews and the quick call to 911 by the homeowner .
The cause of the fire has been listed as accidental due to an electrical issue, according to the department. No one in the house at the time was injured, but one firefighter was taken by ambulance to White Plains Hospital for an undisclosed medical condition. There is no update yet on the firefighter's condition.

Officials said all fire crews were clear from the scene by 9 a.m.
