Larchmont Historical Society's Annual House Tour Declared a Success

The Historical Society thanks community for support of Along the Avenue House Tour 2016: Celebrating 125 Years of Larchmont History

Alice Horowitz, senior managing director of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Larchmont office, and Liz Boucher, senior managing director of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Scarsdale office, would like to thank the community for its support of the Larchmont Historical Society’s annual House Tour. Horowitz and Boucher co-chaired the organization’s 2016 event titled Along the Avenue House Tour 2016: Celebrating 125 Years of Larchmont History.

Approximately 450 tickets were sold for the afternoon event that raised funds for the Larchmont Historical Society. This year’s tour included five historic homes located in beautiful Larchmont Manor. Docents provided highlights and details of the homes and their notable residents. The event concluded with a post-tour reception at the historic Larchmont Yacht Club.

“We greatly appreciate everyone in the community who helped make this event a success, especially those who opened their homes to us. Celebrating the beauty and grandeur of these homes along The Avenue was a wonderful way to mark Larchmont’s 125th anniversary,” said Horowitz.
