Larchmont, Mamaroneck 2016 Election Results
Voters in Larchmont and Mamaroneck cast their ballots for the 2016 general election.

LARCHMONT, NY — With 99 percent of the vote tallied, both propositions for the Village of Mamaroneck were approved. Proposition No. 1 regarding the appointment of a village attorney by the trustees had 3,428 yes votes and 2,306 no votes. Proposition 2, regarding appointing planning and zoning board members by the trustees, was passed 3,374 to 2,298. Vote counts are unofficial.
Incumbent Steven Otis ran unopposed for reelection in the 91st Assembly District. According to unofficial results, with 100 percent of districts reporting, Otis received 31,541 votes.
Anthony Scarpino handily defeated Bruce Bendish in the election for Westchester County District Attorney. With 99 percent of election districts reporting as of 1:31 a.m., Scarpino had received 239,342 votes and Bendish had received 104,912 votes. Results are unofficial until verified.

With 100 percent of the votes counted, incumbent state Senator George Latimer will continue to represent the 37th Senate District. According to unofficial results, Latimer got 66,751 votes to Republican challenger Julia P. Killian’s 53,975.
With 99 percent of the votes counted, in the Village of Mamaroneck trustee race, Victor M. Tafur, Keith W. Waitt and Leon A. Potok, all Democrats were top three vote-getters over Joern M. Stoeckhert, Maria G. Derose and Dennis P. Cucinella. There were three openings on the board. Vote totals are unofficial until certified.

Who are the candidates?
For president of the United States:
The candidates for president and vice president are Republicans Donald Trump and Mike Pence, Democrats Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine, Libertarians Gary Johnson and Bill Weld and Green Party Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka.
For United States Senate:
New York’s senior Senator Chuck Schumer (D) faces three challengers: Wendy Long (R), Alex Merced (L), and Robin Laverne Wilson (G).
For United States House of Representatives:
In District 16, which covers southern Westchester and a bit of the Bronx, incumbent Eliot Engel (D) is being challenged by Derickson Lawrence on the People's Choice Congress line.
For New York State Senate:
State Senate District 37 includes the cities of New Rochelle, Rye, White Plains, Yonkers; and the towns of Harrison, Mamaroneck, North Castle, Rye, Bedford and Eastchester. Incumbent George Latimer, (D-WF-WEP) is being challenged by Julia Killian, (R-C-IND-REF).
For New York State Assembly:
NY Assembly District 91 includes Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Rye, Port Chester and portions of New Rochelle. Incumbent Steve Otis, D-WF-IND-WEP, is running unopposed for reelection.

There are three seats up for grabs for the Mamaroneck Board of Trustees. The candidates are incumbent Democrat Leon Potok, Democrats Keith Waitt and Victor Tafur and Republicans Dennis Cucinella, Maria DeRose and J. Malte Stoeckhert. Voters will pick three.

Westchester County District Attorney
Democrat Anthony Scarpino and Republican Bruce Bendish are vying to replace interim Westchester County District Attorney James McCarty. He has been holding the job vacated by Janet DiFiore when she was appointed to the New York Court of Appeals by Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

The election for seats on the Supreme Court, 9th Judicial District is uncontested. Voters are asked to pick three, and three are running:
