Today marks 8 days before Halloween... And the Mamaroneck-Larchmont Spooktacular.
Spooktacular is a staple of Mamaroneck and Larchmont. This year, like years past, Mamaroneck FBLA helped set up and run the event. Members came down to the Mamaroneck Harbor as early as 11:00am to put costumes out, set up the haunted house, and more!

The haunted house opened up at 1pm and Mamaroneck FBLA was there to help and spook. Members of the successful club from MHS dressed up in costumes and hid in the very dim lighted haunted house ready for jump scares and a whole lot of "jinkers". The afternoon was packed with smiles, laughs, and an overall fun time for all.
On top of having fun, Mamaroneck FBLA gave back to the community. And they're happy to do so too.

FBLA is a club at high schools and middle schools around the world, it runs under Phi Beta Lambda. It teaches young adults to be ready for the professional world, ie. build resumes and to know how to step up to challenges and opportunities. But, it also teaches the importance of giving back through community service opportunities and fundraising.
When asked about the event, club co-president Marie-Amelie Morange said, "It's a fun time to be out here with my classmates and friends. It's really nice to see how giving back and helping can be both fun and exciting for everyone."
Mamaroneck FBLA hopes to be back at the event next year, and wishes everyone a happy and safe Halloween
