Mamaroneck High School's MLK Celebration Set for Wednesday Night

The following announcement is from the Mamaroneck Union Free School District:

For the third year in a row, the Multicultural Club, MHS PTSA, and Padres Unidos are getting ready to host a Multicultural Celebration, a preview of the popular school-wide Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. assembly, led by MHS Social Studies Teacher Shannon Turner-Porter. This year’s evening assembly takes place TOMORROW, Wednesday, January 14th, at 7 pm in McLain Auditorium. Don’t miss it!!!

It’s a wonderful celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. that includes more than 200 MHS students singing, dancing, playing musical instruments and speaking during the program. This year’s theme: “Stand Up…”

Two additional in-school assemblies will be held on Thursday. Come check out the amazing talent that we have among our students at Mamaroneck High School!!
