WHAT: Learn the latest in Parkinson's science from a world-renowned Parkinson’s specialist Stanley Fahn, M.D., by attending the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation’s (PDF) free educational seminar on “Managing the Progression of Parkinson’s.” Light refreshments will be served. There is no charge to attend. Reservations must be made in advance for those who are interested in attending.

WHO: Led by Stanley Fahn, M.D., H. Houston Merritt Professor of Neurology and Director Emeritus, Division of Movement Disorders, Department of Neurology, PDF Research Center at Columbia University Medical Center and Scientific Director, Parkinson’s Disease Foundation® (PDF®). Moderated by James Beck, Ph.D., Vice President, Scientific Affairs, Parkinson’s Disease Foundation. PDF supports the scientific research and ideas that will improve the lives and futures of people who are touched by Parkinson’s. Since its founding in 1957, PDF has invested more than $157 million in research, education and advocacy programs.

WHY: Nearly one million Americans are living with Parkinson's, a chronic and progressive movement disorder. Although research is promising, there is currently no cure for Parkinson’s.
