Can We Talk...about your healthcare wishes? Most of us have a will for our financial planning, but many of us don’t plan in advance for to make sure our healthcare wishes are honored. Join Live With Care’s Julie Buyon to learn about advance directives for health care to ensure you get the medical treatments you want and avoid the ones you don’t. Learn how to plan for medical decisions that reflect your values, and get tips on how to share these values and wishes with your loved ones and your physicians. Learn whom to choose to legally speak for you in medical matters if you can’t speak for yourself, and learn how to prevent disagreements among family members about those medical decisions. You’ll leave with tips and tools to identify what’s most important to you and how to have this important conversation with your loved ones, along with a New York State Health Care Proxy form.
