Set in Africa, Ernest Heminway’s The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber was published in the September 1936 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine concurrently with The Snows of Kilimanjaro. The story was eventually adapted to the screen as the Zoltan Korda film The Macomber Affair in 1947. The story has been critically acclaimed as one of Hemingways’ best and voice actor Alan Sklar brings the story to life. Alan Sklar has been a freelance voice actor for over twenty-five years, voicing radio and TV commercials and narrating everything from audiobooks and documentaries to thousands of corporate and medical video projects. He has one of the most recognized voices on radio and TV.
