Students Attend the National Leadership Conference (NLC) in ATLANTA, GA
Twenty-seven FBLA members attended NLC in Atlanta, Ga from June 27-July 3.

Twenty-seven FBLA members attended NLC in Atlanta, Ga from June 27-July 3.
These students had the opportunity to attend this conference with over 12,000 delegates representing each state as well as the countries of Canada, China, Haiti, DDSO
The students competed in their respective individual and group projects with hopes of placing in the top 10 nationally. MHS students Andrew Katz (Rising Senior), Yi Zhao (Senior) and Jack Phillips (Senior) placed 4th nationally amongst hundreds of others presenting their Mobile Application projects.
In addition, MHS rising senior Sophia Danziger ran a national campaign for the position of Eastern Region Vice President. The campaign process began with months of preparation and gathering of materials. In Atlanta, Sophia gave a speech in front of over 3,000 members of the Eastern Region and held a campaign booth over the course of 2 days. Her catchy campaign slogan “Light the Way for FBLA” became a tagline amongst members and was spread over social media. Her goals included creating a “Humans of FBLA” page and a file bank for members to inspire each other by sharing their work. Her dedication and determination to better the organization was heard by voting delegates, as she won with a vast majority.
Ms. Clain , MHS principal, was able to attend for the first two days. “I was delighted to attend the FBLA National Conference in Atlanta. I was amazed with the professionalism of the organization and of course I was so proud of our MHS students and I was thrilled to be able to see Sophia giving her brilliant speech.”
