WESTCHESTER CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OPEN YEAR ROUND
The Westchester Children’s Museum, located in Rye, New York, is a light-filled, colorful, vibrant learning space filled with hands-on exhibits not found anywhere else in this region. The Museum recently completed construction on the first phase of its building program opening 6,500 square feet of exhibit space in the newly named Hoch Laager Boardwalk Galleries. The Museum is currently fundraising to build out the entirety of its 22,000 square foot site, the historic landmark Bathhouses on the boardwalk adjacent to Rye Playland.
Since opening year round in April 2016, the Museum has served nearly 15,000 visitors from across Westchester and beyond. It is now a dynamic resource for schools and community groups and provides a welcoming environment for all children.
