Flu Reported in Lee Road Elementary
Ten confirmed cases of the flu, dozens of students out sick in Levittown district elementary school in Wantagh.

A number of students at Lee Road Elementary School are suffering from the flu.
The Wantagh school, which is part of the Levittown School District, has 10 confirmed cases of students infected with influenza, according to WABC.
Principal Anthony Goss confirmed there are “a number of students who have reportedly been diagnosed with the flu” and warned parents to seek immediate medical attention if children exhibit any symptoms, according to the report.

The number of students calling out sick has been rising. The district said 39 students were out Thursday, 53 were out Friday, and more than 53 were out Monday, according to the report. Read more here.
