Levittown Students Stand Up Against Drugs, Alcohol

Lee Road students meet with Nassau County Police Detective for workshop.

Detective Pamela Stark, a community affairs representative with the Nassau County Police Department, visited students at Lee Road Elementary School to discuss the importance of healthy choices and the dangers of drugs and alcohol.

This workshop is part of Levittown Education Against Destructive Decisions, an annual district wide initiative that emphasizes healthy lifestyle choices and the building of mind and body. As a culminating activity, Nassau County Police Detective Pamela Stark and Lee Road Elementary School students showed their strength by “standing up” to drugs.
