Police: 19 South Shore Car Break-Ins Last Week
East Meadow, Wantagh, Massapequa among communities reporting break-ins nearby, according to latest NCPD crime report.
Nassau County Police reported the following incidents.
- Dec. 4: St. James Church, Seaford; tools stolen from parked car.
- Dec. 4: Ott Lane, North Merrick, ipod, money stolen from unlocked car.
- Dec. 4: Carrollton Avenue, Wantagh; license plates stolen from parked car.
- Dec. 5: Avenue A, Uniondale; license plates stolen from car.
- Dec. 6: Westervelt Place, Hewlett; Clothing stolen from unlocked car.
- Dec. 6: Garden Street, Valley Stream; car seat, GPS stolen from car.
- Dec. 8: Jefferson Road, Farmingdale; wallet, GPS stolen from parked car.
- Dec. 8: Marshall’s, East Meadow; passenger side window broken, items stolen.
- Dec. 8: Walmart, Uniondale; passenger side window broken, pocketbook removed.
- Dec. 6: Intervale Avenue, South Farmingdale; property stolen from unlocked car.
- Dec. 8: Waveleigh Avenue, Lakeview; sawzall, drill, diamond ring stolen from car.
- Dec. 8: P/L, West Hempstead; passenger side window broken, Kindle, umbrella, tote bag stolen from car.
- Dec. 8: Oakley Avenue, Elmont; pocketbook stolen from unlocked car.
- Dec. 9: Lucille Roberts Fitness, Massapequa; car window broken, laptop stolen.
- Dec. 9: Elayne Court, Seaford; GPS stolen from unlocked car.
- Dec. 9: Fox Boulevard, Massapequa; license plate stolen from parked car.
- Dec. 9: Dean Drive, Baldwin; calculator stolen from unlocked car.
- Dec. 9: Caldwell Road, Valley Stream; spare tire stolen from parked car.
- Dec. 9: Douglas Street and Roosevelt Avenue, Inwood; battery stolen from car.
