Relay for Life!

Hi Guys. Ny name is C.J. Thomson, class of 2012 Graduate of Lindenhurst High School. I'm running in this year's Relay for Life event at Adelphi University in honor of my Professor Dr. Thornburg and in honor of all of the participants' loved ones.

Dr. Thornburg has dedicated his life to human rights and making this world a better place on a domestic level and abroad. This man is responsible for saving thousands of lives and even recently he has housed and fed misplaced teenagers affected by superstorm Sandy. This man is amazing.

However, he is sick. Dr. Thornburg has cancer and refuses to let it show to his students, and shows us that no matter what obstacle he faces that with dedication you can overcome it.

Dr. T had beaten it last year, but unfortunately it came back and now his battle continues.

Now all of his students in The Levermore Global Scholars program at Adelphi are running in his honor! He is our hero. We also are running for any loved ones who have affected by this terrible disease, like my grandmother who passed do to complication with breast cancer treatments on August 1, 2005.

I'm asking for any size donation to help with this fight; anything you can give would be amazing!
