Lindy Grads' Tesla Movie Underway as Bale Said to Play Inventor in 2nd Film
The $4 million Tesla movie, 'Fragments of Olympus,' by Lindenhurst alumni Joseph Sikorski and Michael Calomino, has begun production as rumors fly about Christian Bale and a second Tesla flick.
A rumored film by Universal entitled Tesla, Ruler of the World might star as the famed inventor Nikola Tesla, whose laboratory Wardenclyffe sits in Shoreham, according to a report on the W!ld Rooster blog.
The film allegedly boasts Serbian screenwriter Vladimir Rajčić and two-time Oscar-winning Croatian producer Branko Lustig (Schindler’s List and Gladiator), and would seem to be a box office hit at the with Bale rumored to play Tesla and Nicolas Cage possibly taking on the role of his rival, Thomas Edison.
The film is still in the early stages of pre-production and none of the roles, or even a director, is set just yet.

Meanwhile a $4 million film about Tesla - who's credited with developments in radio, radar and X-rays and with building an early wireless tower - by alumni Joseph Sikorski and Michael Calomino has already begun production.
Sikorski is a four-time, award-winning writer/director/producer, and Calomino is an award-winning author/screenwriter/playwright. Sikorski started Colossal Molehill Productions to make their film entitled Fragments from Olympus a reality.

The movie is now certain scenes on the Wardenclyffe property in Shoreham.
According to a report a report from Times Beacon Record Media, $1 million from the $4 million budget will be going toward purchasing the Wardenclyffe property in Shoreham.
The non-profit group Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe , turning part of it into a museum.
Sikorski hopes to direct the film once the property is purchased. According to the report, actors Leo Rossi and Sean Young will star in the film. Howard J. Smith, who's worked on the Harry Potter and Matrix films, is the cinematographer.
The film has earned the Best Original Screenplay 2010 Award in the Long Island Film Festival’s Screenwriting competition, qualified as a Quarter Finalist in the American Screenwriting Competition and been named a Semi Finalist in 2011 International Movie Trailer Festival.
