Councilmembers Gordon, Donnelly Congratulate New Eagle Scout from Lindenhurst

Babylon Town Councilwoman Jacqueline Gordon and Councilman Tom Donnelly recently congratulated Sean Macys of Lindenhurst for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in the Boy Scouts organization. A Court of Honor ceremony was held for Sean, a member of Boy Scout Troop 60, at the Lindenhurst VFW Hall. For his Eagle Project, Sean planned, built and installed benches along a portion of Little Neck Creek near Cedar Street in Lindenhurst. Sean’s project took 348 total hours to plan and execute.
