Local filmmaker and historian John Carpenter presents the classic film, the 1934 musical mystery, "Murder at the Vanities", about a homicide detective with an eye for the ladies who investigates a murder in Earl Carroll's Vanities and allows the music review to continue during the investigation.
After the featured film, Mr Carpenter will discuss the movie and reveal some interesting history behind the viewed film.
