Island Harvest Holiday Food Drive at Lindenhurst Library

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) is teaming up with Island Harvest this holiday season to sponsor a food drive for families in need.

One local drop off location is Lindenhurst Library. Food donations can be dropped off here through the end of the year during library hours.

Residents and community groups are welcome to participate in the food drive by donating canned goods and other non-perishable food items.

All food collected through the program will be donated to Island Harvest, which distributes over 8 million pounds of food to non-profit organizations across Long Island. Over 283,000 Long Islanders are affected by hunger each year, according to Island Harvest.
