Hometown Hero: Local Nurse Works Tirelessly During Pandemic

LINDENHURST, NY — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Jeff Zanelotti nominated his wife, Jennifer Zanelotti, a 1991 graduate of Lindenhurst High School who works as a registered nurse at Brookhaven Hospital Wound Care Center in Patchogue.

The Lindenhurst resident says his wife deserves recognition because she has been working tirelessly helped countless patients during this pandemic.
