ICYMI: Couple Arrested After Trying To Flee Officers: Cops

In case you missed it, here's a story that appeared earlier this month in Lindenhurst Patch:

AMITYVILLE, NY - An Amityville couple were arrested after trying to run away from officers in Amityville last week, according to State Police.

On July 24, charged 36-year-old Rashied Smith and 37-year-old Kasha Gant after the two fled from an arrest team that was looking to arrest Smith on a NYS parole warrant, police said.

The couple were apprehended after a short vehicular pursuit at the intersection of Schleigel Boulevard and Susan Lane, police said.
