ICYMI: How To Help A Family Who Lost Father Right Before Xmas

LINDENHURST, NY - A GoFundMe was created to help the family of a Long Island man who was died unexpectedly just a few days before Christmas. John Mazza who was born and raised in Lindenhurst, suffered from a heart attack on Dec. 22.
He unfortunately passed away, leaving behind his wife and three children ages 23,15 and 11. Following his untimely death, John's daughter, Georgia Mazza started the fundraiser to help the family.

"...my dad passed away and it has taken a toll on my family and I," she wrote on the page. "There are too many bills and my mom is disabled and can't afford them. The money raised will help pay off what my mother can't and help my family and I remain in our home."
