ICYMI: Lindenhurst High School Student 'Made Comments' About Gun

In case you missed it, here's a story that appeared last week in Lindenhurst Patch:

LINDENHURST, NY - A Lindenhurst High School student reportedly made "verbal and nonspecific" comments about a gun on Friday, according to school officials.

After receiving the report, administrators immediately interviewed the student in question to gather more information, school officials say.

Officials determined that the student was neither a threat to himself or the greater school community, but still called Suffolk County Police out of an abundance of caution.
