ICYMI: Lindenhurst Students Among Suffolk Zone Award Winners

LINDENHURST, NY - Two Lindenhurst High School students were among the recipients of the Suffolk Zone Award. Angelina Mendell and Matthew Newman received the honor during the awards dinner held on Dec. 2.

Sponsored by the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, this award recognizes one male and one female Suffolk County high school senior from each school district.

The students who receive the award exemplify outstanding scholastic ability, physical education performance and leadership qualities.
