LINDENHURST, NY - A man was punched and robbed while walking in Lindenhurst earlier this week, according to Suffolk Police.

The incident was reported Sunday on Albany Avenue at 6:30 p.m.

The man was walking when another man attempted to steal his phone.

When the victim resisted, the man punched him in the face and took his phone.

No arrests have been made. The victim refused medical treatment.

No description of the robber was available.
