ICYMI: Village Officials Looking To Update Noise Ordinance

In case you missed it, here's a story that appeared last week in the Lindenhurst Patch:

LINDENHURST, NY — It looks like some residents in the quiet village of Lindenhurst find it too loud. Village officials are looking to scrap the current, generic noise ordinance and replace it with a much more specific one. The updated law would address several "unreasonable noises" within the village, which the code defines as "an unusually loud noise which either annoys, disturbs, injures or endangers or tends to annoy, disturb, injure or endanger the comfort, repose, health, peace or safety of other persons or the public."
