Labor Day Is Last Official Day for Town Beaches, Pools

Enjoy your Labor Day with a swim in the Great South Bay, down by the ocean or one of Babylon Town's numerous local pools.

Labor Day means two things around our part of Long Island: the eve the of the new school year and the last days for the Town beaches and pools.

All will be running on a holiday schedule with limited hours, so go enjoy the water on the "last day" of Summer!

Beaches

  • Cedar Beach: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. – $30 without permit
  • Gilgo Beach: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. – $40 without permit
  • Overlook Beach: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. – Residents with permits only.
  • Tanner Park: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – $25 without permit. Spray park opens same time.
  • Venetian Shores: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Residents with permits only. Spray park opens at the same time.

Parks

  • All town parks will open and close at dusk and dawn.

Pools

  • Anthony Sanchez Pool (West Babylon): 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. – $4.00
  • Fabio Buttitta Pool  (Deer Park): 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. – $4.00
  • North Lindenhurst Pool  (North Lindenhurst): 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. – $4.00
  • North Amityville Pool (North Amityville): 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. – $4.00
  • Phelps Lane Pool (North Babylon): 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. – $6.00
  • Babylon Village Pool (Babylon Village) – 12:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. – $1.00 to $4.00
