Lindenhurst Breakfast for Champions

Middle school students honored.

Lindenhurst Middle School students were honored at the Breakfast for Champions celebration coordinated by middle school educator Courtney Whalley on June 9.

Teachers nominate students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school. The students are then honored at the Lindencrest Diner’s monthly breakfast, now in its 17th year. They are recognized publically with certificates of Merit in front of proud parents, teachers and peers.

“These students work hard everyday to put a smile on their teachers’ faces,” said Principal Frank Naccarato. “They should feel a great deal of pride in themselves. They all have ‘Lindy Pride.’”
