Lindenhurst Family Says Driver Killed Their Cat, Fled Scene
Family says they want an apology from driver.

Sharing this note that Lindenhurst resident Kim Rechis Dufour sent to our Facebook page:
“BEWARE On Tuesday 10/14 at 7:15 am on 29th Street a young male driving a small red car struck our cat. This was witnessed by our neighbors, my husband, and my six year old son who loved his cat. The driver of this car repeatedly drives through stop signs in this neighborhood. HE KILLED OUR CAT AND DIDN’T STOP. The impact was so loud the neighbors heard it and came out to see what it was and they witnessed him blowing through another stop sign at the corner of Buffalo. Driver you may be scared to come forward since there are many witnesses and we know you heard my husband yell. We are not looking for money to cover the cost of vet bills or for the cremation of our cat. WE WANT AN APOLOGY!!!!!!! We want a safe neighborhood for our families and our beloved pets. Kindly, the Heartbroken Family on 29th Street”
