Lindenhurst Man Found Fatally Shot: Police

The 25-year-old was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds on Wednesday afternoon.

COPIAGUE, NY — A Lindenhurst man was shot and killed in Copiague on Wednesday night, according to Suffolk Police. Officers responded to Court Street at 3:50 p.m. after a 911 caller reported a man had been shot.

When officers arrived they found 25-year-old Jewuel Hanson dead from multiple gunshot wounds. No arrests have been made.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
