Lindenhurst Recent Home Sales May 2013
Since January 2013, 60 homes have sold in Lindenhurst. That is up from 57 compared to this time in 2012. 102 Lindenhurst homes went under contract (pending) so far this year. That is up from 83 compared to this time in 2012.
Currently there are 175 homes on the Lindenhurst real estate market and that has remained the same since the beginning of 2013. With inventory low, buyers are having a hard time finding "the one". They are being met with 1st accepted offers, contracts 1/2 signed and home inspections already completed.
Buyers are thinking when they first start out that it is a buyer's market. When they lose out on a few homes, then reality hits and they realize it is a seller's market. Prices do not have to rise in order for any market to be a seller's market. It's when you have low inventory and buyers do not have many choices.
