Lindenhurst Students Take Part In 'P.S. I Love You' Day

The day of awareness and acceptance was established when West Islip student Brooke DiPalma lost her father to suicide in 2010.

William Rall's fifth grade Ambassador's Against Bullying and Student Counseling students made purple hearts donning kind words and each student in the building was given a similar heart to write down the things they love about Rall.

At Lindenhurst Middle School, students in Nicole Napoli’s Health and Social Emotional Learning class explored the origins of P.S. I Love You Day using Nearpod. The students created their own public service announcements in an effort to spread kindness.

Students at Lindenhurst High School created “desk-grams” digitally. Classroom teachers printed out the messages of kindness and placed them on desks for students to see when they entered their classes.
