Lindy Students Create Messages of Love for Veterans
Students took part in Valentines for Veterans program.

Lindenhurst students recently took part in the Valentines for Veterans program.
Children were invited to decorate cards and add personal touches to their work in hopes of showing their support and offering their well wishes for those brave servicemen and women who served our country.
Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean-Pierre, who initiated the project, came to Daniel Street Elementary School and picked up the cards to deliver them to the servicemen and women who live at the Long Island State Veterans Home. She spoke to students about their projects and thanked the children for their efforts.
