Man Caught Driving In N. Amityville W/ 68 License Suspensions: PD
The 63-year-old was arrested after he was pulled over for failing to signal, police say.
NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY - An East Islip man was arrested after he was caught driving wit 68 license suspensions in North Amityville on Friday night, according to Suffolk Police.
Louis Carr Jr., 63, was driving a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser southbound on Albany Avenue, near Bayview Avenue, when officers initiated a traffic stop for failure to signal, police said.
A check on Carr’s license revealed it had been suspended 68 times, police said.

He was arrested and charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
He was held overnight at the First Precinct and arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday.
