Man Robbed By Duo In Front Of N. Amityville Barber Shop: SCPD

NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY - An armed robbery was reported in front of a North Amityville barber shop on Wednesday night, according to Suffolk Police.

A man was approached by two men outside Strong Island Barber Shop on 1708 Sunrise Highway at about 8 p.m.

The duo displayed a weapon and demanded proceeds. The robbers stole cash, jewelry and a vehicle.

They then fled in a vehicle but it was later located.

No arrests have been made. No description of the robbers were available.
