Man Steals $300 In Coins From Laundromat

He used a key to open several washing machines, police say. A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole $300 in coins from a Lindenhurst laundromat last month.

According to police, the man used a key to open several washing machines and steal coins while pretending to do laundry at Super Laundromat, located at 2 West Sunrise Highway, on Feb. 13 around 9:30 p.m.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
