A look at some recent arrests in the area.

All of the following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate a conviction.

  • Vincent Spakowski, 27, of Lindenhurst, was arrested in North Lindenhurst on May 19 on a charge of operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs
  • Michael Nelson, 28, of Mastic Beach, was arrested in West Babylon on May 19 on a charge of third degree grand larceny
  • Robert Moretti, 50, of Lindenhurst, was arrested in Lindenhurst on May 19 on a charge of DWI-1st offense
  • Mark Bautista, 28, of St. James, was arrested in Babylon on May 18 on a charge of DWI-1st offense
  • Derek Peterson, 26, of Huntington Station, was arrested in Huntington Station on May 20 on a charge of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Dimitri Saintil, 18, of Huntington, was arrested in Huntington on May 19 on a charge of third degree robbery
  • Robert Malone, 27, of West Islip, was arrested in Bay Shore on May 20 on a charge of fourth degree grand larceny
  • Leslie Torres, 22, of Deer Park, was arrested in Central Islip on May 19 on a charge of first degree criminal contempt
  • Janet Giuglianotti, 50, of Kings Park, was arrested in Kings Park on May 20 on a charge of second degree burglary
  • Nicholas Churillo, 44, of Farmingville, was arrested in Smithtown on May 18 on a charge of second degree burglary
  • Nikki Geraci, 19, of Patchogue, was arrested in Patchogue on May 20 on a charge of operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs
  • Dennis Corcoran Jr., 42, of East Patchogue, was arrested in East Patchogue on May 20 on a charge of third degree burglary
  • Nicholas Artis, 21, of Bellport, was arrested in Patchogue on May 20 on a charge of first degree robbery
  • Brian Hennessy, 29, of Holbrook, was arrested in Holbrook on May 18 on a charge of third degree grand larceny
  • Anthony Scala, 24, of Medford, was arrested in Medford on May 20 on a charge of fourth degree grand larceny
  • Leslie Harris, 23, of Medford, was arrested in Coram on May 18 on a charge of DWI-1st offense
