A North Lindenhurst gas station was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning, Suffolk Police said. According to police, a man armed with a gun entered the BP station located at 697 N. Wellwood Avenue at about 1:21 a.m. He demanded cash from a clerk, who complied. The man then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police did not release a description of the robber.
