Police: Deer Park Bicyclist Found Seriously Injured in Dix Hills
A 69-year-old Deer Park man who had been riding his bicycle in Dix Hills was found lying in a roadway Wednesday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.
Paul Rovelli was semi-conscious when a motorist discovered him lying next to a bicycle on Carlls Straight Path, near Villadom Court, around 1:20 p.m, police said.

Funeral services were held Thursday for Edith Mellino, a retired West Islip school secretary, who died on Nov. 11, 2013, according to an obituary notice at legacy.com.
The Brooklyn born native was the beloved spouse of Anthony, mother of Anthony Mellino (Michelle) and Brad Mellino, beloved sister to brother Joseph Noble, and beloved sister to sisters Margaret Santomartino, Patricia Reuter and Geraldine Martocci. She was the beloved grandmother of Ryan and Hannah Mellino.
